Photo shoot with Cricklewood Photography

In mid-April I shot in Princeton, NJ with my good friend and photographer Bob Brown. Bob owns Cricklewood Photography, and is truly a diamond in the ruff. I have worked with tens of dozens of photographers, and Bob is one of the special ones. Not only has he become a good friend and mentor to me, but as an artist he has the ability to capture his subject’s true essence and spark.

As a model (be you a bride, baby, actor or pro model), the relationship and chemistry between you and the photographer is key. If the model doesn’t feel relaxed and safe, the photos won’t shine. Bob is confident and down to earth at the same time. He offers tips on poses, angles, wardrobe and makes his models laugh and have FUN- which shows!

The purpose of our most recent shoot was to update my modeling portfolio and to add some stellar commercial and lifestyle images to my current book, along with shooting new head shots. We shot five different outfits, and used the Princeton University campus and down town Princeton as our set. Princeton is a beautiful town, and is a convenient location as its halfway between Philly and NYC and the train passes right through town.

I have known Bob to travel around the greater Northeast for shoots – especially weddings. Because of his people skills, Bob is the perfect wedding photographer. Besides beautiful images (that’s a given!), he is comfortable working with “real people” and not just models. Not all photographers can say that. He is also experienced with family portraits.

While I don’t have  too many images to post yet (I’ll be adding them to my site as I get them!) you can check out his website http://www.cricklewoodphotography.com for examples, or check out work from our past shoots on my site. Whether you are a bride-to-be, a new family, an actor, seasoned model, or new model – Bob Brown and Cricklewood Photography is the photographer for you!
